Universal Credit and the impact on work incentives

Deven Ghelani

Deven Ghelani Published on 12th January 2016

In this popular webinar Deven Ghelani looked at how the cuts to the work allowances within Universal Credit are affecting those people in work as the rollout of Universal Credit gathers pace.

Deven shared new analysis he had prepared for Lord Kirkwood for last week’s Lords debate on the Welfare Reform and Work Bill who said “I will very briefly sketch through some analysis I have seen from Policy in Practice, a group of people whose judgment I trust. It has done some forecasting of the effects of the impact of universal credit on recipients.”
