Clanmil Housing has worked tirelessly throughout lockdown to get benefit and money advice to their tenants and wider communities. They worked hard to help homeless people move into accommodation, access grants and benefits.
Clanmil Housing’s good news story from 2020
“Our Money Advice team has worked tirelessly out within communities throughout lockdown supporting people with money and benefits advice. When it was possible to do so, we supported people who were homeless to move into new homes, helping them access grants and benefits. We also provided household essentials including bedding and kitchen equipment. One member of the team, Angela was determined to help people and do all that she could to support them at a very difficult time. One family she helped were so grateful for Angela’s support that they have written to us calling her their “Social Justice Warrior”.”

Whilst we have not had it long enough to see the full impact of it, we have found the student finance calculator to be incredibly helpful, especially in the past year.
